A PROJECT BY ANDREA FUCHS, MANFRED NOWAK AND PETRA STELZER
The goal of the IMAGINE HUMAN RIGHTS book project is to introduce the 30 Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to a broader audience and at the same time support humanitarian and educational projects related to human rights.
We thoroughly vetted a number of projects and decided to support Human Rights Watch and a scholarship for The Vienna Master of Arts in Applied Human Rights. 100 % of the profit of the book project which is budgeted with Euro 40.000 will be donated to these two organisations.
Feel free to purchase the book and help us reach our goal.
Human Rights Watch – Children’s Rights
Human Rights Watch envisions a world in which all children have free, quality and inclusive education, from primary school through secondary school. Mass worldwide school closures during Covid-19 made it starkly clear how important schools are to children and our communities.
But even before the pandemic, more than 262 million children worldwide were out of school due to reasons such as discrimination, poverty, disability, and refugee status. As schools reopen, Human Rights Watch is calling on countries to welcome all students into their classrooms and ensure every child can realize their right to an education.

Scholarship for The Vienna Master of Arts in Applied Human Rights
The Vienna Master of Arts in Applied Human Rights offers students an in-depth interdisciplinary education in the history, philosophy, politics, as well as legal dimension of the international human rights standards and their protection mechanisms by international organizations, such as the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the European Union, the African Union or the Organization of American States. In addition to the theoretical foundations, the Vienna Master teaches practical skills necessary for the work of a human rights practitioner, ranging from communication skills to project management.
This worldwide unique endeavor will tap into the untouched potential that lies at the intersection of arts and human rights to thus empower change-makers with innovative perspectives and critical thinking.
